Blood migration...

Well its been an interesting year already and its about to get more interesting. As many of you know from our bulletins Mike is departing from COYA. Another drummer will be necessary ASAP. Chances are we wont find a replacement right away, these things do take time, we have done alot of time already in the scene, we may not be the most popular band in Houston but its only a matter of time. Some one will come our way, we just need to find the right guy that is hungry for blood and ready to throw down hard and get people talking about us having some serious fire power going on. In the mean time I imagine we will rehearse new material, and get probably 5 or 6 new songs down for a set and have someone secured by Fall hopefully, and maybe by late 2008 be playing shows again. Its funny how you make all these plans for the year and a wrench always gets thrown in the gears of what your doing which causes more problems and holds everyone back eh, as the wiseman Robb always says "Thats Life". As far as our EP goes, I havent heard any news from Jason Wallach at all, whether he is working on it or not I am unsure, I am giving him until the end of May to have this worked on and finished otherwise I am assuming he has abandoned the EP and we shall continue and press it with or without his help. Also we have decided to get merch throughout the summer meaning shirts, stickers, and cd's. So there are some things to look forward to in the coming months, but as far as activities go in the COYA campground it will be a little quiet for a few months. I feel we needed this break anyhow as we need to write new material and pump some fresh blood into our veins. We WILL outlive this. It sucks that this first Summer update couldnt be told on a more positive note but losing a member and dropping off the scene for a while just wasnt in the plans at all and we are all pretty bummed about that. Keep checking back for updates on new material, drummer updates, and for merch. Please come out to these last remaining 2 shows that we have left and support us, our May 31 show will mark our final show for a good while, luckily its going to be a big show so that should be fun. We shall return. If not, use your own discriminant senses and you shall undoubtedly find us again in other forms. Thank you...
